And at New River Family Wellness, we even help with other services too! From after-hours texts and emails, to hospital management and prenatal care, we’re here to keep your family healthy and on track to meet their wellness goals. Family Medicine doctors are trained to care for a wide variety of conditions throughout the lifespan, and when we need a specialist’s input, our doctors will coordinate that too. At New River Family Wellness, we bring modern medicine to you with the caring you expect from your hometown doc.
Medications
Medications are just one of the many cost burdens facing patients in the current healthcare system. While we can’t fix everything about the pharmaceutical industry, at New River Family Wellness, we try to make affording and taking your medicines as painless as possible. We dispense medications directly to our patients at the time of their appointment, keep track of refills, and most importantly, offer wholesale pricing on hundreds of medications. You’ll know exactly how much your medication will cost as you and your doctor consider if it’s the right choice for you and if it’s not one of the common medicines we keep in stock, we can usually have it within two business days. No more worrying about what to do when your doctor prescribes a medication and you find its too expensive when you arrive at the pharmacy. And if you find that one of the medications you’re prescribed by another physician is cheaper through us, if it’s a medication our doctors feel comfortable prescribing and monitoring, you can get that from us too! Even with insurance co-pays, most patients on a few chronic medications find that they save enough money on prescription medicines each month to more than cover their membership fee. Labs
You shouldn’t get stuck with unreasonably high lab bills weeks after you’ve undergone the testing; you deserve clear, transparent pricing at the time you and your doctor are deciding on what tests to obtain. Our labs are provided at wholesale prices just like our medications and because of this, patients save significantly over what they’d pay out-of-pocket at other clinics with insurance and even more than without it. We also promise that you’ll always hear from your doctor about your results as soon as we have them without any unnecessary anxious waiting. Procedures
When you need a medical procedure, you shouldn’t have to worry about if you can afford it. That’s why at New River Family Wellness we include all routine procedures in your monthly membership. And when it comes to elective procedures, you won’t find more reasonable prices. Our doctors are here to improve the health of our community and that’s why our prices are always fair, clear, and without surprises.
